Iris Arrieta

Iris completed a student internship at HOLA for her Human Resources Associate's Degree, graduating from Lakeland Community College, in May of 2023. She is continuing her studies at Ursuline College, pursuing her bachelor's degree in Social Work. She is the daughter of immigrants, her family arriving in Ashtabula and working in the area's nurseries for over 20 years. She remembers going on a bus to Washington DC when she was a child, to advocate for immigration reform with HOLA.
